Last year, HART did not provide detailed support for Early Years during the new curriculum work.  This year we are providing a full day's training on Early Years from Sarah Quinn Evaluating Your Early Years Curriculum - Demonstrating Intent, implementation and Impact across the Early Years Curriculum.

This would normally cost £160 when booked directly with Focus Education, but with HART the cost will be £65 for the first person and £55 for the second/subsequent  attendee.  Places on a first come, first served basis 25th November

Leading Your Curriculum - High Quality Education in your School

3 days - 1st October 2019, 14th January 2020, 24th March 2020


Audience
This course will support headteachers, leaders aspiring for headteacher and senior leaders in school.

 

Content
The programme is designed to help key leaders adjust for the new Ofsted framework and it’s focus on quality education. It will provide support to meet the high expectations of the new curriculum.

It will look at:
• key changes in approach,
• how to evaluate the impact of your curriculum,
• support for leaders making curriculum changes across their schools,
• how to align statement of intent and implementation with your school’s policies and planning systems,
• practical ways to monitor the curriculum,
• shared assessment approaches to reduce teacher’s workload,
• support for leaders as they manage change in their teams and phases.

 

 

Cost:

There is a nominal cost for HART member schools of £75 per person to cover administration fee and cost of venue on all three days. The charge for non-member schools is £140 per person. This will be invoiced to schools that book onto the course.

The Knowledge Rich Curriculum Programme 2019-20

Background

This is a programme to support schools to develop and understand the design of their curriculum to enable all pupils to access it.  This is the second cohort which has been requested by HART schools and those beyond the Alliance.

 

Programme Structure

DAY 1 - 1st July 2019 - INTENT through to IMPLEMENTATION - 

DAY 2 - DAY 2 - 23rd November 2019 - IMPLEMENTATION through to IMPACT

 

This second cohort of the very popular course to support senior leaders and headteachers as they design and implement the new knowledge rich curriclum in their schools.  With resources and materials to support staff training and completed examples from pilot schools to show  all stages of the process from design to outcomes.

Cost:

HART Schools £50 to cover administration and venue

Non-member schools £90.
